Illustration - VR Heroes

It's no secret that I like comic books. We decided to take advantage of my comic interest and my illustration background and create a team of super heroes we could use to promote VerticalResponse. Taking inspiration from the Tim Sale Batman designs, from the cartoon series, I created 3 heroes to represent the 3 products we were offering at the time; Email, postcards and surveys. The heroes were orginally slated to appear in a printed BART ad campagin, coffee sleeves and banner ads. But, alas, the super hero direction was ultimately scrapped for a different concept. There heroes still make appearnces here and there, having appeared in on-site ads promoting customized email template design, a short lived banner ad and a flier for the Alternative Press Expo.
